About
Harshvardhan is son of the legendary actor Anil Kapoor who has been exposed to various genres of cinema from all over the world right since childhood. This exposure to different forms and aesthetics has been instrumental in shaping his choices and sensibilities in his own film career.
He made his acting debut with the romantic musical called ‘Mirzya’, written by the Oscar winning Gulzar. The movie premiered at the prestigious London film festival in 2016 to positive reviews in the international press with the New York Times.
He played the lead role in ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’, the movie was highly praised for its realism, strong performances and technical merits.
He played a fictionalised version of himself in the film ‘AK vs AK’ for which he was praised by the critics and shared the screen with his father Anil Kapoor and sister, Sonam Kapoor.
He also appeared in one of the episodes of the Netflix show ‘Ray’. In 2022, he acted in and co-produced a film titled ‘Thar’ which was released on Netflix.
He has been part of brand endorsements for Swiggy and Myntra.
